i am cycling my 35 hex. i hae some base rock and i just put in some little fiddler crabs and a couple hermit crabs-real small ones. i live in wpb, fl and i got them at the beach. will these help the cycling process and are they good to keep in the tank for good.
crabs do not put enough bacteria into the water to cycle with,and if the do, ti would be very slow and ta,e a lllllllllllooooooooooooooooooong time , plus i would not put anyting into my tank from any beach, too much risk of pullutants
