my tank currently has
2 anemones
3 starfish
1 naso tang
1 clown fish
1 niger trigger
1 butterfly fish
1 cole tang
1 sailfin tang
2 yellow tangs
1 unicorn tang
1 fox face
1 Royal Gramma
1 Vlamingi Tang
1 Emperor Angel
1 peppermint shrimp
7 Zebra gobies
6 cleaner shrimp
6 blue damesles
4 fire shrimp
1 longnose hawkfish
It has live rock, sand, much filtration, invtertabrate safe, and everything is doing well. I wanted to add more invertebrates and was wondering if this reef package would be safe for my tank.
30 blue leg hermit crabs
10 scarlet reef hermit crabs
ont: 12.0px Helvetica">
4 veined shrimp
5 emerald crabs
2 brittle sea stars
2 arrow crabs
2 pincushon sea urchins
2 short spine sea urchins
would these be safe to add to my tank? any of them can be reduced in number or taken out. I am open to other suggestions for others to add to my tank including other fish that others would truly recommend! Thank you!
I was wondering also if these fish would also be safe and appropriate for the tank
1 court jester goby
1 citrinis clown goby
1 bicolor blenny
1 carpenters flasher wrasse
1 yellow head jawfish
2 Kauderns cardinal fish
Any input is highly appreciated!

Perhaps some room for some inverts, but even for a 350gal, I'd said you're bordering on significantly overstocked fish wise, let alone adding more...
As far as that reef package, Arrow crabs eat other shrimp/crabs, and pincushions are not coral safe. Not sure what a short spine urchin is. Personally not a fan of brittle stars, especially greens, and to be honest, most invert "packages" aren't a good idea. I think it's sorta a way for vendors to unload slower selling items. You're generally much better served buying things individually.

From the current stock list - that's a pretty good load, and I'd stick with that.. If you had to add something -(from the wish list) I'd do the gobies & blenny, and possibly the wrasse. The wish list fishes are pretty small - medium fish (bio-load speaking) - so adding some of it shouldn't upturn the apple cart too bad - but it's getting tight in there. The unicorn and emperor are gonna be VERY BIG fish one day, and the naso, trigger, and sailfin are gonne be large too. Them with the other large body/high bioload fish (tangs/rabbit/butterfly) are a very large bioload, that I'd say would fill out my 475 -
As far as the reef pack you listed - it's more decoration than actual clean up crew... Unless you have bubble alage - emerlad crabs have little other use in a tank, and I'm not a huge fan of hermits either, I've a few, but there are several varieties of snail that do better, unfortunately your trigger would likely make a meal of most good alage eating snails. If you know your trigger eats them, only get them for a sump or refugium - but if you don't know if the trig eats them, find out... Snails do the best job dealing with detritus/waste/alage and I have hundreds in my large reef. I'd also think the trigger might dine on the arrow crabs too...I've a friend with a niger trigger in a large reef, and his ignores all his snails/shrimps/clams. (of course the trig is well fed and does not ned to eat/bother tank inverts) Try a couple snails, and see how your trig does with them, then build up a good group of snails for your cuc. Some conchs may do good too - A friend with a ~250 just got some fighting conchs and highly reccomends them, say they are alage eatin fools. I'm gonna get some, next time I order some inverts.
If your trig ignores snails, get alot - there are several varieties (turbos, astraea, cerith, nerite, trochus) and they do a better job than hermits. I have 6 brittle stars in my tank, they do OK. A couple are gettin kinda big (18" across) but they are eatin somthing. As Aqua mentioned - avoid the green brittle stars (aka - the green death) as they can and WILL eat smaller fishes during the night. The urchins may do OK (i'm not a fan of them perse).. The veigned shrimp are more decoration than real cuc. I prefer shrimps from the Lysmata sp. (skunk/peppermint/fire)
Somewhere on another thread I listed my CUC stocklist in the 475 - if i can find it, I'll post a link. I agree with Aqua - that cuc pack you listed isn't that graet - you'd be doin better building your own. Also post what your goal for the CUC will be - general cleanup/green hair alage removal/specific alage-detrutis cleanup/substrate surface cleaning? Various inverts do better jobs on specific things.
And Welcome to the site/boards!

The urchins eat algae like mad but with some annoying trates. The spiny urchin is the better one as the only thing you have to worry about is if some of your rockwork isn't secure he may knock it down while trying to get by. The Pincushion you will find amusing at first (I did) picking up snals and carrying them on his back for protection. He doesn't harm them just carrys them. Lately though he has taken to picking up frags and hiding them around the tank. After searching for an hour the other night for a frag he almost went on a field trip to the local sushi resturant.
That trait is annoying for me with a 90g I would assume it would be maddening in a 300+ gallon tank. If the Niger kills your snails though the urchins are probably your best bet to get. He won't bother them.

That's why I don't have any in the 475!
I remember now that's why I dont buy them. I had a tuxedo blue pin in the first reef, a 90g, back in '01, and laughed reading your post cryp! I'd forgotten that he'd do that.
If the niger leavs snails alone - here's that link to my cuc list in the 475 I mentioned before. My cleanup crew list is in this short thread: https://forums.saltwaterfish.com/forum/thread/386319/clean-up-crew-for-300-gallon#post_3393009
