So here is my tank so far, I'm just starting out and still have LOTS to learn. I'm having fun doing it however I never knew how addictive corals could be before I started.

VERY NICE!!!

Is that caulerpa growing in your tank? If so you might want to get it out, as it grows VERY fast and can choke off all your corals.

Yes the caulerpa is growing, I have to trim it back weekly. I don't mind it as it is keeping my nitrates down as long as I get to it before it forms seed pods and dumps unwanted nutrients back into the tank. I'll keep it for now but it is taking up valuable coral space so I'll see how long that lasts.

I don't know what type is being sold here, however mine is a Red/Pink Modern Cynarina
(Cynarina Lacrymalis) which is very hardy and easy to care for. No special light requirements and I sometimes spot feed it. Otherwise it is a very interesting piece as it inflates and deflates getting almost 4x its base size.

is that a all in one tank? i say so because of the slots on the right side and the loc lines on the left. if it is, could you post the name brand and a pic of the back?
by the way, tank looks sweet!

Its all one tank, I went with the Red Sea Max system. It is really nice not anything fancy but it works for me and everything (pumps, heater, skimmer) is hidden in the back.

love your rock work
.... you'll learn on the way same as I am doing now.... lol just take your time your tank is looking great already...
