Hi I am in my 3rd week of cycling my tank, and I have been noticing that there is what I believe to be "brown alge" It is growing all over my live rock and on the sand as well.
Is this a good/benificial thing that is going on in my tank. My buddie started up his tank a few months back and never got this kind of bloom.
If anyone could please give me advice that would be great!
It is a 47 gal tank with 30lbs of live rock so far and i used fine sized live sand. I also just added 2 chromis about 2 days ago with the go ahead of my LFS.
Ill attach pics to show what is going on.
First one is just a portion of the live rockm the second is how it is growin on the sand.
