thanks for the compliments guys
hey muprh i just got into sps corals and im addicted now.. i have a HUGE staghorn along with some nice big acro's and monti's i also have about 30 frags in my frag box of acro and monti
i wish i could have all of your sps thats for sure!! thats why i cant wait till i move all of my stuff to my 120 , i then will be running a 1200 GPH cloose loop system with a squidd for alternating flow for the acro's

yeah i found it difficult to keep softies and sps together .... just the flow issue alone...
i have about 40x's turnover in my tank which is a 180g tank
anyways the softies would get blown around too much and not polyp out as much .... placement is key with them but u might have to thin out the softies a lil....
i would also run carbon 24/7 when keeping softies and change it out every 2-3 weeks....
main thing is when u switch over keep ur water stable and clean....

thanks for the advice murph!
ya i figure thats why i will go with a squidd so i have alternating flow and i will find the "dead spot" or i will create one so i can keep alot of my softies over there. or i will somehow switch it up.
i run two different carbon sources on my 75 gallon right now which i LOVE, and as you said i change them 1 every month
main thing is when u switch over keep ur water stable and clean....
thats why i just stare at my new tank, very afraid to change over evan though i know it will be better than my tank now!

Beautiful Tank, Great Job!!!
I can't believe that it's only 4 months old. I'm going into my second month still trying to figure out how I want my live rock to be placed :)

yes it is, i never used to like them but then one day i bought the one i have and they truly are an awesome coral and grow very fast under halides as well!

iw ould love to travel around and help peoipl with tanks! that would be great...just give your tank time .. i think the key to a healthy and nice tank is consistancy

ACTUALLY live rock placement is the WORST! im never happy with how i place my live rock, in my reef tank i just kind of "threw" all my live rock in there and it looked pretty good so i kept it!
Thanks for all the compliments!
