4 black spots

Hello, I have a yellow damsel that I've had for six weeks and I just noticed 4 black spots two on each side at the same location on the fish, One spot at base of gill fins and one spot one quarter inch above on each side. These spots look a little bigger than white ich size.
Say what you will but to be honest I don't know for sure if these spots have been on this fish since day one. I'm thinking that the spots are just markings because of the uniformity, and the spots are bigger than periods.....

Unfortunatly I'm unable to post a pic. From the description could this just be markings that I didn't notice? THANKS
ps: These are literally 2 black spots in virtually the same location on either side.
