Hello all!
I am new to the forum and as well Salt tanks.
I have a BioCube 29 which I have set up for FOWRL and plan to have a Dwarf Lion in that until I get my other tank converted.
I have a 40 Gallon Tank that I want to convert into a Salt Tank and would love feedback on the best way to do this?
The filter I have on the tank now is double what is required for a 40 gallon Freshwater, so I am thinking this is still ok as a filter?
What would you recommend as a Protein Skimmer add on?
Other Additions?
I plan on creating a larger FOWRL tank in the 40 and moving the Fuzzy there once its set up and then having the 29 Gallon be my main coral display in the end.

Welcome to site

Basically you are starting from scratch. The only question I have is have you ever added any meds to this 40 gal. tank? I would clean with vinegar and rinse it very well. Read all the threads at the top of this form and get a couple of books, most library's have few to choose from. And keep asking questions. Good Luck

Basically you need to toss everything you have for fresh water and get different equipment. It's a whole different concept.
