40 Gallon Reef Build - Ground Up

So, I had to take down my 125 gallon reef three years ago due to a temporary move. But, I'm back in my house and decided to set up a 40 gallon reef tank I had in the shed. Instead of a syphon overflow, we drilled the tank... it's just starting to look like a reef now... but a lot more to go.

The lighting and color is much nicer in person... more blue. Photos look washed out... but I think you get the idea. Would love some nicer zoos and some sps once the tank establishes a bit more. Things are already growing well. Anyone in Southern California want to give me some frags?

Oh, lighting is one 250W MH (I think it is a 12k Ushio bulb, but might be 10k) with two - 28w actinics. Berlin Protein Skimmer and small fuge in the cabinet.

I'm in Southern California! We should trade some things...

Sure... just send me a PM. I just put in an XM 10k bulb... my Ushio was old... can't wait to see if there is any difference...
