kreach Active Member Jan 7, 2004 #6 I am in no way debating the benefits of a DSB, but I have also heard that a 2" sandbed is 90% as effective as a 4" sandbed. So a 4" sandbed IS more effective, but not by a very large margin. Personally, I try for a 3" sandbed... jmo.
