45 Pentagon with 90LBS of LR and 45 LS good for aggressive tank?????

Any help would be appreciated. I am new to the hobby and was leaning towards reef tank until I started looking at stocking the tank. My tank has cycled and clean up crew has been in for 10 days. I am having second thoughts to the reef after seeing some of the colors on groupers, wrasses, etc. Is the 44 big enough?

groupers and wrasses get to large for a 40. a 40 hex would be a better off a reef.
