hello, I just received my 36" JBJ Retrofit Deluxe RR-900 with external ballast with fan (10 1/2" x 4 1/4" x 2 1/4") and 2 - 96 watt bulbs. one 10000K full spectrum and one blue actinic and new moisture resistant bulb sockets. Has brand new high quality electronic ballasts It measures about 35" long x 9" wide and 2 1/2" high. It has a German "Ripple" mirror polished aluminum reflector. The ballast has 2 switches and 2 grounded cords.

Anyways... I am supposed to have a canopy for this...however, i don't have one nor do i know how to make one. How much does it cost to buy one. is it easy to make one? Will the lights be ok just sitting on top of my tank in the reflector?
