There is a 460 gallon acrylic tank for sale(lfs shut down) but its reef ready and comes with "professionally made" stand and canopy,it says $7,000 new he wanted like $2900 a couple months ago but he only wants $1,200 for it now.. this seems like a GREAT deal should i hop in it???

i would jump all over it if you have the money for it.
there has been a lot of fish stores closing the last couple of years. they are almost dropping like flies.

Dude go for it. Even if it sets around for a while it is still a great deal. If you don't want it buy it for me.
But really get it.

A few things to think about, Can your floor suport the weight? Can you afford the upkeep? It will need roughly one box or bucket of salt for one water change and a lot of water made up. Just to name a few isues.

My wife says my tank is "A Endless Money Pit" at 72 gallons
I would dread taking care of a monster like that.
