5.5 gallon tank

would it be possible for a frog fish the size of a .50 cent peicebe able to survive in a 5.5 gallon?stock list:tiny frog fish 3 nassarious snails2 hermit crabs10 lbs of live rock and 6 lbs of live sand.

yeah as long as you can get him to eat,, you should be stellar. I bet hes CUTE,, we need pics. But yeah you would be able to try some mysis and small krill (is it eating anything yet?) if not start with small ghost shrimp

With 10# LR and 6# sand; that must leave about 3 gallons of water. Your fishkeeping skills will sure be put to the test; any tiny mistake will be fatal.
 
the only reason this would be hard is the food you have to feed will cause a lot of nutrient problems. otherwise a 3 gallon and 5 gallon tank isnt that hard. I have a 5.5gallon with probably 3-4 gallons of actual water in it after sand and rock. Ive never had a salt water tank before in my life and i do just fine with a very well followed weekly water change and top offs. I dont see what all the fuss is with these small tanks, personally i dont find it that hard

The more water, the more pollutants are diluted. You're obviously doing very well; but, I sure wouldn't advise it. Just a pinch of hidden, uneaten food could easily decompose and become toxic before the bio-filter could handle it.
 
when you say bio filter do you mean like naturel filter because i also have a aquaclear filter rated for 30 galons and a protien skimmer rated for 14 gallons.
