5 Days in a row!

Five days ago I bought my first piece of coral for my tank. It is a beautiful purple polyp with green hairs. The problem is that every morning I wake up to find it on the sand. I have a 10" goby that I am sure is the culprit. He is my favorite fish with all of the sand sifting he does, but now there is something in the tank that is not secured. Each day I have moved the polyp to a different spot in hopes of sheltering it, but to no avail. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks

Hey,
You can glue the rock down to a larger piece so your fish doesn't knock it around. Your lfs should sell it, or you can just go to any store and buy epoxy glue. It sort of freaks me out that epoxy is reef safe, but it is! HTH

Hi zack, I know what you are going through. We have problems with our large clown[clarkie] she goes through these fits and does house keeping , she makes me so mad, but its her tank and she wants it just so. I have moved many things so she dosnt destroy everything. Her favorite things to pluck are small shrooms, and a small star pollup that she beat up so bad one night that it never came back, the puddy works well but, the smell when you mix it is awfull, smells chemicaly,,cya...fixit :)
