i got the liverock yesterday i only got a pound and a quarter in about 6 pieces is that enough and in about 2 more weeks im thinking about getting a rock full of star polyps and a few mushrooms...does this sound okk???and in 3 weeks im getting a yellow tailed blue damsel....

Put the rock in and feed the tank just like there were fish in it. If you have sand put that in also. Let the tank cycle before you add ANYTHING. During the cycle check the water for ammonia and nitrites. They should both spike and come down to 0. Once this happens, do 10 % waterchange and check levels for another week. If everything looks good you can add some inverts. A couple of weeks after this, if the inverts are okay and water parameters are still good you can add a fish. In a 5 gallon 1 fish is pushing it, so make sure it's a small fish. No corals for at least another month after this.
