Ok guys it's now been 5 months and I have two emerald crabs, dozen or so blue legs, two clowns, bubble tip anem, and brittle star. I had to put the bio balls inbecause of the noise but since doing so I notice more algae. I'm thinking of taking them out and filling the chamber with small live rock. Any thoughts on this? Also do I need to add a power head? With the algae on the back and the sand not being white I'm wondering if I need more circulation?

what tank do you have?
whats your return pump gph?
what type of algae are you talking about?

Here are some pics I finally got. I also put some LR in the second chamber, but it still made loud noise so I put some bio balls back in on top of the rocks. Also do you guys think I should add a power head or is the current ok with just the stock?
