50/50 or 10000 K

I have a 38gal FOWLR. 1 single SO Flour tube. I am looking for the LR to flourish more. With 1 SO bulb, would a 50/50 or 10000 K (or other suggestion) bulb be recommended? I relize an upgrade of lighting would be preferred but this is what I have to work with now <img src="graemlins//yell.gif" border="0" alt="[yell]" /> . Thanks for your input

I do not think that it really matters to much with the type of lighting that you are running.

50/50 are half white and half Blue, and 10,000K is suposed to have blue spectram in it, its a toss. I would just buy another cheap ***** striplite before you buy more rock and use two bulbs before a real light upgrade.

I recently switched to 2 50/50s and it made a huge difference in lighting.

what is a SO? i harve heard of NO HO and VHO, but never SO.
if you are going to have only one bulb go with a 50/50 instead of the 10k

I used SO for standerd output/ same as NO normal output I presume.
