Well,I started with a 55 gal. with cc and a naso tang.Found out I needed bigger tank (got one) found out most prefer ls over cc,(got ls) and I also bought a cc starfish and a coral beauty. I also learned to test the water more often.The guy we got the tank from really didnt know anything about sw fish.He was taking the advise of a friend who never even had fish,(go figure!) the book he gave me was copywrited in 1976,so I went and got the conscientious marine aquarium by fenner and the new marine aquarium by paletta.I have learned a whole lot here concidering going into this hobby blind.Didnt realize how expensive it was,but you know what? As far as Im concerned,ITS WAY WORTH IT! I think about how much care I give my two cats and now I just have more to share with the fish.I also learned about a qt tank.(was told I would never need one by the guy who sold it to us)I read here about 6-8 times a day and see what other people have done and what they have learned.I actually told my lps about this site and so far,they have backed up most of what everyone has told me here or what I have read. Well,time to go glub,glub! MY guys are sitting right next to me watching me type on the computer saying,FEED ME!!! so gotta go.Thanx again to all!
