I have a 55 gal tank cycling now. I would like to have fish and some inverts. Looking to buy livestock soon. Please comment on compatability of this list. I DON'T plan to buy them all and cram them in there, just looking for a good combination of these. I picked them for looks - not whether they get along. Also, for the list you recommend, in what order should they be added? I value your expertise, and comments most appreciated!!!
Oscillaris Clown

Longnose Hawkfish
Orange Linkia Star

clowns-yes
goby-yes
tang- tank is not big enough
Skunk cleaner shrimp are awesome
Snails- why not go with nassarius snails. I personally think they are the best snails out there they clean up the sand very nicely and they tend to bury themselves in the sand too.
Every other kind of fish you you put down personally i really don't like but every one is different. I think maybe you should go with 2 differnt types of clowns. I know many people don't recommend that but if they are tank raised clowns about the same size and put in at the same time. They should get along or at least they have for me and some other people I know.
How about a wrasse????? very cool fish.

Your tank is a bit small for any tang
Dont put dottybacks unless its a fridmani if you want to keep passive fish
Gobies are ok
Cardinal are ok again but feeding can be a problem, mine didnt eat anything just pods
Longnose hawk is ok but i heard they attack small shrimps probably something like pepermints...
Linkias are hard, your tank should be at least 6 months old and they are very sensitive to changes in parameters.
Dont know about arrow crabs but the rest looks ok too
