55 gal protein skimmer?

I have recently setup a 55 gal and plan on making it a fish only with liverock.I have a filstar xp3,emperor 400,and a Magnum H.O.T filtering the tank. Im not sure wheather or not to get a prizm deluxe skimmer as well, is it nescessary? Im planning on keeping a emperor angel, blue throat trigger, Volitan lion and yellow tang. I relize these fish will need a bigger tank as they age but right now they will all be 2 to 3 inches. Any reply would be very much appreciated thank you.

I would reconsider the lionfish and trigger in the same mix..Not sure what a filstar is, but i think youd be ok without a skimmer..

id get a skimmer with all that poop in ur tank.

thats a pretty big bioload. might want to consider a good skimmer

the skimmer will do more for your tank than any of those filters.

IMO you should always run a skimmer, especially since you plan on keeping a high bioload. I recommend the Aquac Remora for your tank. You they are most affordable HOB skimmer out there and in my opinion one of the best.
