I have a 55 gal set up for almost a year. Just lost a yellow tang and mandarin over the last week. Still kicking are the following...
Coral Beauty
Maroon Clown
4 damsels
Water is:
Ammonia=0
Ph=8.2
nitrate=10
nitrite=0
Have a wet/dry filter with a skimmer. Had experienced problems of cloudy eye with the one damsel and the Coral Beauty. To fix the fin damage, I added MelaFix for a week and then partial water change. I did this twice, and now all looks good. I noticed the tang not eating and eventually came found him the next morning on the bottom. I then found the mandarin sucked up to the side of my power head so I'm leaving that as chance of bad luck for the mandarin.
Now I notice the Coral Beauty not eating as normal. I did just open a new pack of brine, does this ever go bad/spoil? I tried some blood worms with no luck.
Help???
