Well I have now had my tank set up for about 5 months. I have a black backgorund. I do not have a sump. which I did though. Heres a list of my equipment
Jebo 180 protein Skimmer (I know not the best, but plan on gettin an Aqua C Remora at the end of the month <-- I know thats not how you spell it but oh well lol. Im not sure what the GPH is with that powerhead.
2 powerheads that are at 526 gph
1 powerhead that is 170 gph
I have the filter that came with the tank again not sure about that but it works pretty good.
I have 220 wats of pc lighting, thats 4 watts per galon, which is just going to have to do because Ill be going to college soon and will probably sell the tank.
I have 40 lbs of aragonite sand and 20 lbs of live sand
I have about 60-70 lbs of live rock. It might be more though im not to sure.
I got into the hobby by walking into a fish store. Took time and read about it for about 3 months and jumped right into it. I know not that long of researching, but just couldnt wait any longer.
I had started off with an undergravel filter, but after reading about them on here I have never acually ran it in the tank besidws when I ran carbon with it one time, but now they are pretty much hid.
I wish I could have found this site before I got started I think my tank would look a lot better. And thank you everyone who has helped along the way so far I know I will need plenty of more help.
I will just mostly update pics on here a lot so I want have to start a new thread all the time. Anyways let me know what you think good or bad. I want all the info and help I can get. It will only help in the long run.
If you have any quesrtion about whats in the tank or anything just ask me and ill let you know. and I know its anything special nothing (like Murph tank lol), but I am really proud of it and love it alot

Heres what I have in my tank:
1 Green Brittle Star i know I got it earlier, but its really doing well.
1 Ocellaris Clownfish which is doing great
1 Cleaner Shrimp
1 Pencial Sea Urchin
A few snails and 1 hermit crab and 1 blue leg crab.
I really need to get a better clean-up crew.
And for Corals I have:
Green Brain Coral- just got him tuesday
Figi Zoos- got them tuesday
Flame Zoos- got them tuesday
Sun Coral- got it tuesday
Yellow Polyps - got them tuesday
Elegance Coral - Ive been having it and while and its doing great and growing at a nice rate
Green Bubble Coral- which I can not get to open up all the way for nothing. 3 days it open up real big and the next days it will barely have any bubbles at all. It hasnt had many bubbles at all on for a while. I just placed it in the sand a sec ago and ill give it a try there.

This is when I first put the tank together. I guess about 5 months ago.


As you can see not very good at all and not much rock.
This was the tank a few hours ago before i aquascaped it again:



And this is the tank as of now. Just re-did the rocks about 15 mins ago. Outside of tank has water stains becuase I didnt wipe it down before I took pics.



I really like the way the rocks look now the tanks looks like its filled up more

That looks good, I like the current rock setup that you have the best. Glad you got rid of that backdrop. I have a Marineland C-220 Canister filter for my 55 gallon...I haven't set it up yet though, but I am looking foward to it.

Wow I didn't see the pictures of the corals. Haha I love the pictures of your clown. I'm going to wait until I get back to set up my tank. I will be here to take care of it and when I get back I will have more money and that is when I plan on getting the rest of the stuff I need. Pics look great!

Thanks a lot. I bet you cant wait lol I wish I had more money besides a highschool budget without a job, But I plan on getting a job soon though so ill be getting more stuff!

Right now I work at Starbucks, I get paid a decent amount but the store that I am working at just opened not too long ago and we don't have much business yet, which means that I don't get that many hours. When I go to Oklahoma over the summer I am doing an internship in marketing with my dad's company. I will make a couple g's while I'm there, and it will look good on my resume for when I get out of college. That's when I plan on buying the rest of my stuff.

yeah i use to have it but got rid of it. i think i like it better now lets the rocks stand out more. then I look at yours and im like idk lol
