does anyone think that this would work for a 55 gallon tank:
-1 snowflake eel
-1 volitan lionfish
cant think of anything else, if you can just post what other things could go in.

IMO, a 55 is way too small for a volitan;I have two that are about 12'' & 14". They get way too big and grow extremely fast. Consider one of the dwarf lions.

No. The snowflake starts off small and grows slowly. The Dwarf lion would be too big for him to eat. Have you read up on eels? You will have to target feed him with a feeding stick, at least until he expects it. Then you can hand fed him. They don't really go hunting for the food, you bring it to them.
