very nice set up. Coming along great. You will need alot more live rock soon for the tang and the LMB. Some will flame you about the tang. Just be sure to remove him when he starts to looked stressed. Increase the algea sheets for them and add a few drops of garlic extreme to the food or the algea sheets to keep the immune system up.

Yes, great place to get lr. It will need to be re-cured since it will get shipped. The sizes, shapes and colors are great too.

My 55 had 175 lbs. of lr in it. I also ran 260w of PC's, but kept softies. Wattage is not the issue it is PAR's. Complicated to explain as I am not a lighting expert. There are a ton of threads on here for that.
I moved everything over to my 125 gallon, added another 125 lbs. of lr and added another 260w of PC's.

It really depends on what you want to keep. Soft corals ie. mushrooms etc. or SPS, clams etc.

Softies are:
mushrooms
ricordeas
xenia
gorgonians
featherdusters
green star polyps
kenya tree
button polyps
zoanthids
Some of these are not softies, but fit the same care level lighting wise as the others.

Possible as they need great water quality and normally are not in the direct light. REQUIRE alot of care, not recommended for the new aquarist.

Try and get you LFS to order you some base rock, or try and find some base rock online(base Rock is dry rock composed of Coral fossils ) MUUCCH cheaper, and it will become live rock in a few weeks in your tank ( i pay $1.50 for my rock and go from there) Better for environment as well. All you need is a smalll amount of live rock to seed your tank. about 3/4 of my tank is Dry base rock that I put in the tank (I use to live in the keys and could get great rock from constuction sites where they were digging holes :).
Just a thought I think more places should be selling this rock, to ease the pressure on Reefs in the South Pacific. The main disadvantage is that the rock is a lot more dense, but is also becomes a great source of calcium for the tank as well. Anyone else go this route?

Notice the Green rock just the left of center on the bottom of the tank?? that rock is about 1.5 months old and is starting to get the purple Coraline, as is the white rock just to the right ofhe Conch shell in the center. The Rock will go green for awhile it's fine, then the purple will start to grow over it. Some of this rock is even made by me GARF style.
