I've kind of did the same thig you did, but didn't you get frustrated with the whole transfer. I was almost about to give up until I look at my dory's big cute eyes and said " What the hell was I thinking"
. Nice set up.

kiddie... it really wasn't that bad i did it all in one day took about 10 hrs to do.
the time leading up to me auctually doing it was the worst part.
cyclops... if i had to guess i would say there is around 150 -200 lbs in there and i still have about 100 lbs left over that is still in the 55 just sitting there
i put the 55 on the bay.hopefully i will get enough from that to get a couple 175 retro mh's.

Nu2,
I'm right in the middle of doing a switch myself. You're right, the time leading up to it was the worst!! So far so good here. Everyone made it through the night. I'm just to where I'm acclimating fish to the water in the tank. Can't wait to finish and see the final results.
Great looking tank you have! When did you switch yours over?
Welp, back to work...

DITTO!! I've got mine completed as well. I had the fish in their new home at just about noon today. I don't know about you, but I'm glad it's finished!! I'm converting my 37gal into a sh tank, so that's the next project. That tank needs some serious cleaning before I can consider doing anything else with it

Great job!! I love your new tank!!
