Ok LAst time i bought a tank I had a ford taurus, now I have a hyunai accent ( 2007 4 door) I am wondering if anyone has fit a 55g standard into this vehicle or a similuar model car. Measure ments line up but without having a cardboard box the same dimensions, I am unable to test angles ect.
THANX FOR PROMPT RESPONSES / THOUGHTS.

If you have friends,... find someone willing to help that has a truck. Buy em' a 6-pack and your friends will do anything. :D

better yet....tie a friend to the top of the car, and make them hold the tank on the trip home. Duct tape their hands to it so they don't let go.

Hell go to the lfs and try it. If not bribe someone that works there to deliver. Getting a friend to move a tank is a lot to ask.

OK , after first response, I went and tried it, I was able to fit a 65 in real tight fit, but it worked great. my LFS is a good three hour drive round trip hence getting a feel here first, thanx for posts.

Haha, I know what you mean. There is one that's 5 minutes from my house but they've really gone down hill with the new management, so I have to drive 45 minutes to the better one.... it drives me nuts cause I go so often....

I stop in atleast once a week just to see what they've gotten in, I couldn't imagine having to drive that stinkin long just to get my fish. I'd be ordering off the net more often I suppose.
