55g???

Out here in Okinawa, Tanks are very expsensive. I just bought a 55g for just over $300. Im putting in the dinning room. My wife wanted bigger so we could get a moorish idol in there. Any suggestions as to what would be a good show fish in this size?

Unfortunately, you're really limited with the 48x13x18.
I'd go with a medium sized reef, of easy to keep inhabitants such as zoos, shrooms, green star polyps, etc.
For fish, I'd choose a school of 5 Purple Firefish for your show fish. They'll always stick together and they're beautiful. Then, maybe a Flame Angel OR a Coral Beauty Angel.

You could go with a couple fairy wrasses...they are beatiful fish.
