Hi, I have a 55g FW setup that I would like to make into a SW setup w/ some corals in a couple of months. Can I do this? If so, what would I need,ex., type of lights, filteration, water movement, ect.?

I have done this to my 55 gal. I have 2 power heads, Biomatrix protien skimmer, 2x55w pcs and 4x36w pcs. I have hard and soft corals and they all do fine with this lighting. There is some pics of my tank in the link below. Good luck! Oh yaah and alot of money too.
You can easily switch over, but make sure you never used copper medicine in the tank. The copper residue trapped in the silicone can wreak havoc on any inverts you might buy.
