6 line wrasse jumped ship...

Came home from work today and found my 6 line wrasse dead on the floor with my dog staring at it...

I didn't even know they were jumpers.. I had that little guy for over a year....

Wrasses as a family are known jumpers. Any fish can jump from a tank. Just depends on what spooks them and makes them launch. A fully covered tank is about the only sure way to prevent it.

Try having a Blue Spot Jawfish pair jump, at the same time. I swear they were conversing about it, and plotting their escape.

I shouldn't say the same time, though. As I had come home from work and they were both on the floor. So they had around 10 hours to jump.

They were honestly the most personable fish, I've ever had, even more so then my previous BSJ (was given away) and I have never heard of BSJ(BDJ)s pairing up, which was icing on the cake.

That's ruff.. I didn't like loosing one fish. Really sucks to loose 2 at the same time...
