This is my first saltwater tank
I went to pet smart one day and saw this tank and stand on sale for a very good price, having a few extra bucks to spare, I decided to start up a tank again. I started looking around at all the pet stores in town just to see what options i had, and saltwater never even crossed my mind. There was a new aquarium store that ive never seen and we went in to check it out. All they had were saltwater tanks!!! on every wall from floor to ceiling. It was love at first site. I got everything I could and thats how i started the wonderful journey of maintaining a saltwater reef tank.
My excitement was my downfall though. i had done very little research and had no idea what i needed and what the cost would be. Ive learned alot since then but am always eager to learn more. Heres what I got...
60 gal all glass tank 48x25x14
two 75 watt led lights blue/white
Rapids pro plus filter (worst and most expensive mistake ever!! I need to upgrade to a sump but the rapids cost me $400 so i may as well get my money out of it before it goes in the trash)
750 gph power head
1400 gph power head
250 watt heater (not sure what brand)
120 lbs of live rock
80 lbs of live sand
yellow tang/ picaso clown/ diamond goby
pulsing xeno polyps, grean star polyps, 2 rose bubble tip anenomes, condy anenome
decorator crab, arrowhead crab, serpant starfish
hermit crabs and snails
I will get more live stock soon, I am just waiting for my tank to mature a little. its only about four months old, and before i spend anymore money I want to make sure i am experianced enough to handle more.
First aquascaping
Current rock formation (same rock, different spots)
Any comments or suggestions are greatly appreciated. i want to learn as much as I can. Any helpful hints/tips/tricks?

Hi and Welcome!!!
I also like the look of your rock work. I love your story about love at first sight in the all SW fish store. Just Great!! You got bit by the bug and your wallet will suffer.

A lot of first time reefers will do the same thing. Start out hard and fast, buying everything with out a ton of research. The good thing is that there are places like this where members only want to see you be successful. We will not try to sell you something that you don't need just to make money.
I think you are right in slowing down on adding livestock until the system levels off a bit. A new tank is usually not considered mature until the one year mark. Make sure you get yourself a good lab style test kit and test your parameters regularly (good idea is to keep a notebook tracking your parameters).
I hope you stay around for a while, there are lots of helpful people here.
