6500k v 10k and a worm

I've been trying to capture pics of this bristleworm for a while, but as you know they scoot when the lights come on. As an experiment I tried using a $20 coralife FW 2x9w 6500k light to photograph pics of my zoos with the PC light off. While doing this I noticed the worm would come out and travel all over the frags, as a test, I turned on the PC's and he retreated to his little cave, turned off the PC with the 6500 running and he came back out. I can only guess they respond to the 6500k as not being daylight.

I should add that he's about 3" long, at least, never seen him out all the way. I'm going to use this same 6500 light on my DT to see if I can capture other critters out and about

I'm still getting ticked that I can't capture true colors. This worm is bright blue towardshis backside, thats the reason I was using the 650k light. Thougth that maybe the actinics were causing a color shift

Just wanted to make sure because I hear flatworms aren't good to have and I have several worms that match yours but I thought they were bristle worms.

The worm pictured is in fact a Bristle worm. They are pretty harmless, and a good part of your cleanup crew, unless their numbers get way out of hand. Then they can become a nuisance.
