660 ballast t-8?

Has anyone done this or has experimented with it? I was on searching a well known and reputable light ballast company website. They claim you can run a t-8 32w sylvania daylight bulb on a 66o ballast and it will produce more light than a vho and have a more consistant light output for the life of the bulb and no need to run actinic's. This was supposed to be tested in a lab and on a reef tank. Sound's like a good experiment if I had a light meter and could afford to have two reef's set up. Has anyone tried this or runs their system in this way please let me know.

I think I read the same article. You can do normal old fluorescents too. I have seen a post in another forum from someone who did it with T8's and was very impressed with the light output but I think it would be a mistake not to run at least 1 actinic. Might look a little yellow otherwise.
