72g bow front lighting question

This is a question going out to people who have this set up. Im trying to get a good light to use on my tank(tek T5 6x54 maybe? Can't decide yet. I want over at least 300 watts.), but what im finding is that the width of the light fixture will be wider then the top of my tank(on the sides not in the middle) and I really don't want any light to overhang my tank itself. Im just curious what everyone else uses or used in the passed? thx

go with tek! i have the 8 bulb over my 90 and its well worth the investment..
the no fans was a concern but not anymore.
with t-5 the bulb choice is huge and you can mix/match to get the look u want

also if its longer, you said ita a bow so just move it foward a little? it will light up the back just as well. you could hang it and be done too tho. no body would no its longer.

the problem with most fixtures on a bow front is that they are plenty narrow in the center of the tank but as a rectangular fixture when it gets to the outside narrowest aprt of the tank it just hangs off like 3 inches

Yes thats my problem. I have a canopy on top of my tank and I really want to keep it. People say retro lights, but the canopy is plastic and might be hard to install those kind of lights on it. Any Ideas? thx
