Recently purchased a 75 gallon saltwater tank.
Thinking about this stock list:
yellow tang
marroon clown
damsel
flame angel
naso tang
bluethroat trigger
emperor angel/ blue face angel
how does this sound? any suggestions?

Scratch the Naso and the Emperor/Blueface.
You will need a 125 (6ft.) minimum for the stocklist you have above

If i scratched the naso and emperor could i possibly purchase a butterfly of some sort?

You could definitely get a butterfly. I would reccomend a Pakistan or a Raccoon. Butterflys and hardiness are like cheap mercedes...they are hard to come by.

yes i know. But they are fairly slow growers.
Saltman - I have had my Emperor since he was 2". He is now 9". This has been little over 3 years. I can tell you right now he would have trouble being QT'd in a 75.
They are not slow growers. They will be very aggressive in a 75 as a juvie. I started with mine in one and moved him in less than 8 months.

I would also worry about a Yellow in a 75g, they get quiet territorial and small qtrs may make for problems.

The yellow tang should be placed in last. i found this out the hard way.
Just added a new one the other day and there are no problems, as he is the last addition.

my tang was one of the first fish. he is very shy for some reason. unlike and other tangs i have had. especially a yellow!

It will more than likely become very agressive to newcomers. I broke this tension by putting a small mirror on the glass to distract the tang for a day or so, this allowed the new fish to get used to it's new surroundings.

ya, thats a good idea with the mirror. I have been adding new fish, not a problem with aggresion with the tang. the tang is huge. prolly around 5 inches. i have more of a problem with the damsel which is a pain to newcomers.
