75 gal aggressive tank

Hi Everyone,
I would really like an idea of aggressive fish to put in my 75 gal with live rocks. I don't need a lot of fish but would just like to have a list to work with that would make a great combo.
If anyone have any suggestions, I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks In Advance,
Michael

Look at :
Dwarf Lions
Dwarf/Toby Puffers
Dwarf Angels
Hamlets
Damsels
Hawkfish
and some of the larger clownfish
A handful of these would work but even with great filtration i wouldnt do more than 4-5.

Won't puffers pick at lions?
Here's my list:(if money wasn't a big deal)
A more expensive eel such as Bannana Moray, Hawiian or Brazialian Dragon,
A Puffer
A Foxface
A small angel (lemonpeel or coralbeauty)
Two Maroon Clowns
Under a budget:
A snowflake eel instead of an expensive moray

I would add a dog face puffer to the list. I had one for about 5 years. He had a great personality and always swam around the tank. Be picky when you are looking. Many puffers at LPS are not all that heathy (at least in my area). Make sure they are some what active and not all curled up.
Triggers are great as well. I have a Huma Huma and he swims all around.

Thanks to everyone that gave me suggestions. As far as filitration goes, I have the fluval fx5 and a rena xp4 canister filter. I love the Lionfish and the some of the puffers. But will the humu humu mess with the lion?

most triggers have been know to pick on lionfish. humus are not the most aggressive but not at all the least aggresive. i had a volitan lionfish in a tank with an undulated a v tail grouper and a niger trigger i fed them and went to sleep but my roommate saw the niger and undulated team up and literally tear the lionfish in half. i guess being venomous is useless against triggers

the list i suggested was a mix and match. i was not suggesting that all belong together as a dwarf lion may eat a damsel. as far as a large eel like you are suggesting, they do not belong in a 75g tank and deff. not with 5 other fish, two that grow to 7" or so. And triggers are too aggressive and large for this sized tank. The fish i suggested stay to 5" and i think are better choices for this size tank.

yes i also have a SeaClone protein skimmer. I like the idea of having an eel in the tank. I was thinking about the snowflake moray like Mike22cha had suggested. The snowflake moray seems to be very docile and can adapt more quickly. The toby puffers seem to be cool but they nip at the other fish fins. So what about maybe a
1. Volitans Lionfish
2. Rabbitfish
3. Stars & Stripe Puffer
4. Snowflake Moray (maybe)

I don't think any of those fish are good for your sized tank.

dont get me wrong, im not trying to be mean. I have the same tank as you, and if you want to keep aggressive fish then the fish i listed are the most suitable.(at least common choices) With that said, a 18" lionfish, an eel and a 10"?? puffer probably wont work out too well.

I had a 72 gallon aggressive a few years back and kept:
Snowflake Eel
Niger Trigger
Lunare Wrasse
Blue-spotted Grouper
They all did very, very well for several years until I moved and gave them away.

sietedos is right the snowflake will do fine in a 75 gallon but if you get any sort of trigger this tank will only suit a juvi less the 2 or 3 inches. triggers are strong fast fish and can get from one side of a 200 or 300 gallon tank in like a second flat also most triggers will eventually snap one day and try to kill everything unless in a very large tank with other fish who hold their own.

After much consideration I decided to get a snowflake eel, a humu, and a stars & stripe puffer. So far so good! I plan on getting a 120 early next year, so they will be transfered over if anyone is concerned about the size of the 75gal.

not concerned about tank size but keep a close eye on that humu they tend to just snap one day with out warning as if to say "my tank bitches". this usually happens if they are shy and hide, alot one day they will relize they are the baddest fish in the tank and they will show it unless the tank is massive.

I had a 75 gal with the following "bruisers"

Lipstick Tang
Huma Huma Trigger
Niger Triger
Lunare Wrasse
Snowflake Eel
Achilles Tang (the alpha fish)
It was a beautiful, and very active tank

That is horrible even if it looked cool the fish had to be miserable and what happened to the tank.
