This is an amazing tank. I am the original owner of this 75 gallon long (dimensions are 60x18x22) acrylic, and virtually scratch free tank.
The tank has ~125 lbs LR, primarily Fiji, that is super encrusted with purple and red coraline, red, blue and green mushrooms, pulsing Xenia, and green star polyps polyps. 1-3’’ sand bed. Other corals include green nepthia, huge Fiji Toadstool (this is definitely a showpiece at about 17’’ across top), green bubble, and orange zooanthids. There is also a large purple tip anemone with its mate, a 3’’ maroon clown). Other fish are an Eibeli-Eye dwarf angel, 2 yellow tangs that seem to be soul-mates, a baby bamboo shark (hatched a few months ago-thinking about taking him into the LFS soon, especially if the buyer of this setup can’t take him b/c he’ll need more room!) 1 green chromis, and a few other damsels.
Lighting is a less than 1 yr old CSL 60’’ hood with 4 96 watt PC’s (2 daylights, 2 Actinics), splash-guard (can sit right on top of tank) and built in fan. One dual-tube hang-on overflow down to a 12 gallon sump with a Mag 7 and Maxijet 1200 returns (will throw in about 5 gallons worth of bio balls).
Circulation in main tank includes a powersweep and penguin powerheads, as well as an Eheim canister (3650 I think) I run with nothing in it for additional flow. Skimmer is a brand new RemoraPro with Rio 2400 that I actually have hanging off the sump instead of the main tank ( I have the overflow box for this which improves efficiency ~20% and has a media chamber for carbon or whatever). The stand is all acrylic (clear, flat top and bottom), and has 3 black hollowed out legs where you can hide canister, wiring, UV steralizer (15 watt, plumbed in-line with the canister). This is truly a classy Display Tank suitable for any home or office!!
Total invested is just over 4 grand, but I’m moving cross-country and can’t take it all with me. I’d like to sell everything together to 1 good home, but am willing to negotiate! Must be relatively local (Northern California) Please e-mail me at:
