so i have a brand new 75 gallon that i am extremely happy about. it was originally going to be a reef tank but i thought otherwise on that and now am moving my engineer gobies from my nano into it. (the female goby is in need of a serious upgrade) they dont move all that much but they are cramped in my nano. so i plan on putting a dwarf zebra lion in with them. would that be ok? i know lions will eat whatever can fit in their mouths.
and if i add a Papuan toby puffer to the mix as well, would they be all good together?
thanks!

Hi, I don't know about the combo you are asking about concerning lionfish. However your 75g can still be a reef with engineer gobies. Just make certain the rock is on the bottom of the tank and the sand around the rock because as you know, they dig.

yes, i do know they love to dig. they have an elaborate tunnel system in my nano, but with the whole reef setting, i just love lions and would love to have one, i know he would eat the clown, so hes staying in the nano. but would the gobies be eaten is my only problem....

Oh I understand now, it sounded like you wanted a reef, but thought the gobies needed the larger tank and you couldn't have a reef if you had them in the tank. The only experts I know on lionfish are Saxman and Cranberry maybe send them a PM
