Hey everyone,
I have this 75 gallon that im making into a reef and i was wondering if it is possible to keep a kuda in this tank? I wont be stalking it with SPS corals or corals that sting or could harm the horse. the tank is 18 inchs in height the lighting is one 400 watt metal halide there is about 80-100 pounds of liverock a coral life protein skimmer rated to 120 gallons and an aquafuge 4 gallon refugium that hangs on the back of the tank. There is very little flow in the tank only the pump for the aquafuge and the pump for the skimmer. Right now all that live is in the tank are blue legged hermit crabs, an emerld crabs, asteria snails and nassiarius snails. I would like to add more invertabrates which are acceptable? and are there any fish that i could keep in the tank with the Kuda? Also is there anything i should add to the tank? I think i will start growing Macro algae in the tank so the Kuda has sumthing to hold onto.
Thanks your comments are much appreciated,k

Wow...well.........you have a lot of reading to do. Seahorses do not do well in reef tanks. they need a species only tank. The size is perfect. Your flow is too low....There is so much info on this forum. It's easier to answer specific questions...but I'll be happy to help you get set up

that all true. you can keep most soft corals with horses. nothing that stings. there is a nice compatability list posted by the author. It has corals, fish and inverts. If you are keeping one, you should really keep a pair, and only buy captive breed.
