75 gallon fowlr

in my 75 gallon i have 75 lbs of live rock and a yellow tang. how about a dwarf lion? are there any triggers that could fit? picasso? also what about any medium sized angels? not the dwarfs... and wrasses? i still want cleanup crew... thanks...

A dwarf lion would work for this size tank. However, tangs, angels, and triggers will not; they grow too large for a 75g tank. There are wrasses that would be fine in a 75g; however, some of them are small enough to make a meal for the lion. I am not very knowledgeable regarding wrasses overall, so if you're looking for specific names, then perhaps someone else will help out with that.

im thinking about this...
-yellow tang
-fuzzy dwarf lion
-some type of angel...(majestic or regal)
-snowflake eel
is this a good list?
do i have rooom for anything else? like a big clown?

for the angel im thinking about getting an emperor angel. If i buy it small. I have read they dont grow fast. I will probably only have it for about 2+years or so. so will it outgrow the tank?

im doing all kinds of research and im still not sure about the fish to put in my tank. I already have the yellow tang...and its gonna stay. I want it to be a semi aggresive tank. with no triggers, puffers, or anything that eats the inverts......i still want the inverts. I want some type of eel. SFE and whatnot. and maybe 2-3 three more fish. probably a dwarf lion but maybe not. i would love to have an emperor angel but thats not an option right? If i buy it very small and let it grow for a year or two is that alright? possibly more? ive read they grow very slow... thanks

I THINK WHAT WE'RE TELLING YOU IS GOING IN 1 EAR AND GOING OUT THE OTHER! i think that you can not angels or any type of tang! even if the angel is a baby...it will outgrow ur tank way too quick..it will be very stressed out
definately NOT a blue hippo...which gets relatively HUGE btw

In addition to what everyone else is saying about the angels and tangs, a snowflake eel will most likely eat any inverts you put in there since that is what they eat in the wild.

not saying it is right but i have kept a yellow tang in a 3 foot tnak for 7 months and he has now been in a 5 foot for almost a year. i think he is very happy. he is the only fish i have been able to keep alive since the beginning but as long as you wil eventually upgrade (which i am sure you will...you get addicted to the hobby and that is the nature of the beast) you should be ok with that guy. that's my opinion

An emperor angel is not an option. It requires at least 180g. Do you agree with people putting huge sharks as babys in small tanks? Same case. (I hope you don't). Get a small angel like a flame, coral beauty, or lemonpeel which are some of the many smaller angelfish. I don't think a snowflake eel would work with inverts.

i mostly have big hermits and snails. will he eat that?
how about a fuzzy dwarf, yellow tang, and a potters angel. plus the SFE

i dont think im going to get the lion. I only like the volitan lions but that will have to wait for a bigger tank. Instead im thinking about a heniochus butterfly. Any thoughts on this?
