Hey Guys,
I'm debating right now over a 55 and 75 Gallon Reef. I have seen alot of the 55 Gallons and would now like anyone with a 75 Gallon tank to post their pics and say what type of lighting you use for it. I am debating over PC or MH lighting since I am on a very tight budget. Thanks a bunch!

This is my 75. I have 260 watts of pc on it now, will soon get the mh's though. If it was me I would go with the 75 over the 55 because of the difference in depth of the tank.

You should be able to find a 75g setup tank stand top and at LEAST a twin tube flourescent for 300$. a 55 will run similarly.

...and a very nice 75 at that!!!
I upgraded from a 55 to a 100 about 18 months ago and couldn't be happier......on second thought maybe I would be happier with a 240....custom built.....dual overflows.......

Another very nice 75...
I run a pair of 400 MH's and 2x110 VHO's over my 100.

Hey saltyguy in the second pic you posted the coral in the center what is that? The big yellow to whiteish looking one.

Thanks NM. Maybe one day my tank will look half as nice as yours.
Tripleshot, the coral in the center is a devil's hand leather. It was only about half that size when I bought it about 6 months ago. Now it's about the size of a softball.

Thanks for all the pix so far. I definetly am going for a 75Gallon because the 55 is just too narrow for my liking, I'd like more room for the fish to swim once I add all the LR and corals. I am glad to see that most use the 260W PC, since this is what I'm going to start out with and hopefully keep for a while.
puffer32- That tank looks amazing. Do you have any anemones in there?
