looks really good now. how are the tangs doing. i was told not to put the hippo in a 75 [say he needs at least a 100] so im upgrading to a 90, so i will be able to have him.
but your tank looks really nice and healthy
. how long has it been set up?

Here are the 10k Bulbs with the same T-5 supplmentation... I just didn't like the overall look with these bulbs.. I may end up settling on the new XM 15K bulbs.. from what I have seen and heard about those bulbs, they are pretty decent.....
The tank Turned 1 year old in April..... Doing great so far..

I have been lucky with the anemone. It has stayed put since I put it in the tank... I think it is doing great where it is.. It is able to have it's base or foot I guess it is called tucked way up under the rock where it is at... It get's good flow where it is, and great lighting, so I guess it is content... It has grown quite a bit... Hopefully it will not get too much larger... I have had only minor problems with it stinging neighboring corals... Once in awhile it will brush against one, and the coral will close up for a little, but it really doesn't bother much... I have a gold maroon clown that is hosting it...
As far as it staying blueish, with the 14k bulbs, it will... That is what the higher color temp of the bulbs will do... The 10k spectrum is not blue at all.. Kind of like a yellowish white.. I did not like that look, so I went with the 14K for more of a blue coloration... The reason I may eventually switch to the XM 15ks is that they appear to have a much more crisp white look from the Pics I have seen.... I am running the CoralVue's, and I am not all that impressed with them, but they will have to suffice for a while longer.....
Thanks for all the comments!

Hey, and to think I was gonna set up a guppy tank instead.. lol
as far as the power heads go, I do like a lot of flow in the tank... each side has a aquaClear 802, and a maxi jet 1200... I have a maxi 900 in the rear of the tank also... The tank is set up with an overflow / sump setup... There is a spraybar in the rear of the tank down at the bottom andlged up slightly powered by the Mag 7 return pump..... I don't have any wavemakers or random timers or anything set up, but maybe one of these days... I like pointing the power heads towards the center from the corners so the current creates a swirling effect when the 2 sides meet each other... Works well for me.....
I also have a 37 that I have set up... It has been going since a little after Christmas time... I will post pics of that one of these days.....
Thanks again for the comments..... Cheers!
here are a few of where the tank came from..... :help:
