75g breakdown to a 29g

Hi all,
Sorry wasn't really sure where to put this, so feel free to move it if necessary. I'm going to be downsizing my reef tank from a 75g to a 29g and was just wondering the best way to go about it without stressing everything out too badly. I'm in no big hurry, just want to make sure everything does well in the process. For the transfer I have obviously live rock and sand, 1 large GSP colony and 1 small, 1 rock filled with purple mushroom coral, 2 clowns, 1 blue damsel, and 1 sixline wrasse. Any tips would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

Anyone? Someone on a different forum just suggested moving my old sand and water over to the new tank, putting the live rock in and putting all the fish in (1 day)...but that seems like too much of a system shock?

When I moved from apartments, I didn't take out the sand, I just moved the tank with the sand and that same day I put everything back in the tank. Just keeping the LR in a Rubbermaid container with water from the tank and some flow with a good temp. The livestock got separated into individual Ziploc bags and left inside one of the Rubbermaid with LR as if I were to be acclimating them and same for my corals.
Now about moving everything to a new tank. I;'m in the process of planning the same, but I;m moving to a bigger tank. Something I was told was that I should get rid of the sand and get new one and someone else told me that it wasn't necessary to do that. I would simply need to move the sand in a way that I wouldn't disturb it as much and the only thing I came up with was using a dustpan and slowly transfer the sand to the new tank.
As far as water goes. I would save about 70% of the old water and add the %30 of new water just to help the mini-cycle. That's what I did when I moved from apartments and everything seemed ok. I didn't lose any corals or livestock. I had just a little to nothing of a mini-cycle.
That was just my experience, maybe someone else might chime in a help a bit more.

I listened to a pod cast explain everything including how to clean the sand. If you know of what im talking about just go to the past history and you can listen to them explain it. They will do a better job!
