Well I am new to this forum/hobby and am looking at setting up a 75Gal tank but am kinda still clueless on the the required outputs and whatnot. I am looking at making my own sump and overflow box but am unsure on the size they need to be. I was going to us the plans off of Melevsreef.com, would this one be good enough? For my sump I was going to use a rubbermade bin and two smaller ones for the bioballs and the filter elements, what size should these be? As for a return pump, would a Mag 9.5 be to big or small? Also could you a powerhead as a return pump since they are cheaper then the $100 Mag pumps? Well I have alot more questions but this should be good for now. Thanks for the help!
