Ha Ha...... Im hoping your neighbors dont wake up in a salt bath. I did notice you put your larger LR in the corners, thats what I would've done too. I wouldnt add any more LR to the center till you get a new stand.
As for your questions I'll try to answer them. I've been told that a 10% weekly change is what you should do. But a 20% bi-weekly should be fine for an aquarium that size. I could be wrong but I would say 20 gal should be fine.
I only really see one problem though... It seems like you added snails/hermits already. I would say the tank is too young for them but you should be fine if you suppliment their food source. Lastly, I've also heard not to use canister filters for salt but im not too sure why. They work great in freshwater set-ups but everyone seems to prefer sumps with skimmers and refugiums. Keep on keepin on.......

i built a refugium w/a 30 gallon i had! it worked pretty good !but the guy @ the lfs has acouple 125's i asked him what he use to filter em,one=refugium, and one canister, i thought the same thing you did about those, cause prior to this take i had a 55 with the refugium, its the brand new 360 by marineland has, ceramic filter, bio balls, polishers, and carbon.everything the other has!and easy to clean as long as you remeber to take the suction line out of the tanklol...TIME WILL TELL! if the properties of the tank continue this way with the canister. ill use the extra time to beautify my tank! also, what could i use to substitute food for snails?

i dont mean to be rude, but that tank won't last to long like that. there's way too much pressure in the center. i would get a proper stand asap.
