I haven't purchased anything yet, but i'm thinking now of getting a 10 gallon with the 96 watt light i've heard people talk about on here. I was going to get the 12g 48w nano cube dx, but I think i'm just going to do it piece by piece and go down to the LFS and get a 10 gallon tank for $9.99. Any suggestions on what else I should purchase (equipment wise), any links, etc....???? would be greatly appreciated.

A good powerhead for circulation- Eheim 600 is nice
A heater- Ebo Jager 50W
Now for filtration you have a few choices- Since I have a JBJ I dont know what would be sufficient for a 10G.
Maybe another 10 for a sump? That way you could have a skimmer and a fuge area. They make very small overflow boxes so that wouldnt be a problem.
You would only need a decent pump in the fuge to get the water up to the display.
In the long run that would be awsome because it would allow you access to the filtration easier, you can run a skimmer for cleaner water, you can grow macro algae instead of bad algaes. You could also use live rock as your filtration rather than some commercial filter/carbon stuff.
Just a thought..........
