A big problem

My green fuzzy acro is still very much alive i feed it and etc...but recently a surplus of algea grew on it and i cant seem to remove it....i put it in the strongest flow too (in front of one nano pump)
any ideas? (before u say light my clam as never had a problem and is growing fine)

sounds like it is getting too much flow. algae can grow on a coral when it receives too much flow. try redirecting the powerhead so that it isnt pointing directly at the coral. It should then recover and the algae will go away.
 
+1 for getting it out of the flow. How often do you feed your coral and what do you feed it? I only use light for SPS and whatever comes from my fuge.
