This was taken on 8-17-07. I had just removed a CC sandbed and painted the back. I really didn't like it much but the family did.

Here are a few pics from 1-17-08. Most of the corals in the pics were rescued from a friends tank. The pics were to show her how they were doing.

My BTA new home!

Dennis here is the bubble I was talking about!

Thanks for looking

wow! all that from your friend's tank?! What a difference! What happened to your friend's tank? Do you have it for good or just temporary?
Man, I wish I had a friend like that!

Here is a list of all the stuff I recived from the tank. Alot of the zoas came from my other tank.
1 mushroom rock
1 orange gorgonian
1 red gorgonian
1 purple ribbon gorgonian
2 featherdusters
2 bubble corrals
1 galaxia
1 brain coral
1 favites
1 frogspawn
1 torch
1 candy cane coral
1 cleaner shrimp
2 clownfish ... 1 clarkii, the other is an oscellaris, i think....(need to be in separate tanks)
1 flame angel
1 mandarin fish goby
1 orange linkia starfish
1 coral banded shrimp (not sure if he's alive....never see him)
1 pistol shrimp
1 abalone (not sure if he's alive....never see him)
3 snails
The tank is no longer running and these were a free gift in an effort to rescure them that they might survive. I have not seen the banded shrimp and the smallest bubble is not looking as good as I had hoped it would.
The lighting is a 4X65 Current Orbit fixture with Hellolights TRU bulbs. 2X10k and 2XAtnics. The tank is a 55 gallon with no sump. Most of the rock is LBTR that was seeded from some live rock over 3 yrs ago. In the first pic the big rock which is white is new LBTR rock. It's 9" tall and 21" wide.
Thanks,
Slim

nice tank how has the flame angel been doing with your coral or do you have it in another tank?

I lost the flame about 2 months ago. It would not use it's tail fin for about a month and so it slowly passed away. It was sad to watch. I don't think the coral beauty had anything to do with it. I have never had a problem with either of them. I do keep macro algae in the tank.

Mark...
A lot of people don't like it and think it's bad. I like seeing some macro algae in my systems I think it looks more natural. It's just like anything else in our tanks you need to watch and trim it or it will get out of controll.
