Very nice, you definitely have some nice Acro's. Most of mine are being grown out from frags. Awesome pics. Is the fourth pic of the new Gomezi(I know you weren't positive on the id). Is that fav of yours a Valida? Very nice.

thanks GRabbit!
teen.... tell me about it im wondering what im guna do just bust up the front tips with the magnet float glass cleaner as it gets closer i think that will keep it in place but at the same time i wanna let it keep getting bigger... but im affraid to relocate the coral it was a wild piece and if i change its light and current pattern it might stress and die and i dont wanna risk that... any ideas??
trippkid... most of mine have started from smaller pieces or smaller aquacultured/wild pieces... i love watchin them grow out just not fast enought in my opinion lol... yea that is the gomezi type coral in the fourth pic down... the new one which is the last one is a Desalwii acropora.... my valida is in this pic

AAnothony... tell me about it i need a wider tank now! but no $$$$ to get it lol

i bump into mine a lot with my hand (i just use a razor blade to clean my front glass) and IME, it just makes things worse. it seems that when i break off one growth tip, 2 or 3 more grow back in its place. not thats a bad thing, just i dont want to move this coral, and i really would like to have it grow into a huge colony. its already as big as my whole hand stretched out.
and i wouldnt suggest moving your colony. you shouldnt have trouble selling frags of that though. im sure everybody including myself would be all over them.

Yes, I saw the Valida in that pic, couldn't put my finger on the name of the other, so I guessed. Very nice.

mcbdz... lol i should i just hate stickin my hands into the tank always seems to make more of an issue than before things fall over and are hard to remount lol

Hey Murph How you doing?
I have a question for you, other than the tips turning white, how can you tell if one sp of acros are stinging another? I ask only cause I see how many sps pieces/tables you have so close to one another and they are growing insanely!

saltyshogun... thanks im used to it so i dont see insanity anymore lol

goingpoor... yeah birdsnest are fun some people have real luck wiht them and they grow so fast... im lookin for a few of the more colorful varieties now like the ponape and the purple polypd one...
scarface... thanks im doin good.... i know when they are fighting cuz the tips string and u can see the death but usually ill just watch and see how they do many a times they know they are getting close themselves and they will avoid each other by growing around or stunting growth in that region... ive had some just kinda come in contact batlle a lil and just form a calcium barrier between each other and call it a truce
