The percs are temporarily banished to my frag tank for a few weeks just to be sure they are ok before adding them to the display.
I take frags from the tank to the local fish store for credit/$$
I take $$$ and buy other things I would not normally spend the money for...like the Onyx clowns etc.
So one (frags) paid for the other(clowns)

@slowest is fastest.....where did you get them from? And if you don't mind how much?
I bought mine from Rod Buehler. As far as I know he is one of the few that captive breeds them. $ 70 each plus shipping.
ive always wanted some onyx clowns. but i prefer to buy my fish locally, and my lfs never has them
I am not surprised that the LFS can't get them, mine couldn't either...No one online seemed to have them. I felt lucky to find captive bred.

ps In addition to the Onyx, I now have Red Saddleback clowns(A. ephippium), My maited spawing Gold Striped Maroons (hopefully they will start laying eggs again for me) arrive Friday and a pair of SI percs (solomon island) next week.I just need to get a pair of Tomato clowns and then hold out for the Seychelles Clownfish (A. fuscocaudatus) and my group will be finished. I knew I set up all those tanks for a reason :happyfish

They look a lot like mine. How big are they?
Mine are right at 1" maybe a little bigger but not much. Probably around a year old give or take a few months.

Rod is a great guy to deal with. I have only seen pics of his anemone but it looked very nice.
How long ago did you get yours? Has the color changed at all?(i.e. more black or darker)

My bad on the anemone type, it was morning when I posted that.
Anyway, I got mine about 3 months ago and they have gotten a little more black. One has even developed a new white spot on one side of his body! They have definately paired off with the other one (not the spotted one) being the female. She's larger and clearly in charge!
