A few pics of my seahorse tank

I took some pics of my seahorse tank and wanted to share them with you guys to get a few opinions.
It's a 35 gal. octagon with about 55 lbs. of LR, 40 lbs. of LS. For filtration I have a small red sea protein skimmer, and a skilter (cobo carbon filter and skimmer) In the basin of the skilter I have some rubble LR and some plastic media. I think it serves me as small refug. I have a few mushrooms in it and on one of the small rocks I bought at the LFS for the shrooms on it also has some kind of green stringy plant on it that the seahorses like to hitch up on. I have about 30 snails, and 40 hermits. I have 5 Kuda Seahorses, 2 fire fish, 1 spotted manderin, and 1 pipe fish. I started the tank last summer, and started putting fish in it in January. If all goes well, I'd like to upgrade in a year or two.

Very pretty seahorses! Does your Maderin eat any frozen foods or anything or do you supplement with pods or something?

Can't get any cooler than that!! I'm actually in the process of planning my 37gal sh tank. I'm hoping that this weekend I'll be able to get the sand, rock and water in to get this thing off and running. So far, I have a little coral skeleton that will be a great hitching post and I just bought a gorgonian coral this past weekend to put in there (we'll see how that works out). I have the gorgonian in my reef tank until I can transfer to the sh tank.
Great shots!! I can't wait till I have some ponies too!!

Thank you Lisa, I love watching the ponies play with each other. I just got my male yesterday and when he made it into the tank each one of the females took turns introducing them selves to him.
Good luck with your set up. it sounds like you got a good start!

What do you feed your ponies? I've heard that Cyclops is a great frozen food to get them going. The horses that I plan on getting are captive bred and will arrive being trained on frozen foods. What else should I have on hand to feed these guys??
Any help is appreciate.

So far I've only tried mysis. I am certainly open to anything else they may eat though...
